About the Conferences in Sports History
The International Conferences in Sports History is the French Society of Sports History's (SFHS) scientific event . The Conferences take place every two years in different cities and allow the francophone and international communities of Sports historians to meet and exchange ideas about specified themes.
During the Conferences, the ‘Pierre Arnaud’ Prize is awarded to a young researcher. The prize rewards the best paper submitted in the context of the symposium and its specific topic.
Furthermore, at the end of the Conference, the SFHS holds its General Assembly.
The symposium attendees receive free membership to the SFHS for two years following the Conference.
